Melanie and Jordan were married on a gorgeous June day, high above Banff at the unforgettable Sky Bistro. Perched atop Sulphur Mountain, this one-of-a-kind venue gave their guests a true experience, riding the gondola up, stepping out into fresh mountain air, and taking in panoramic views that quite literally take your breath away.
Their ceremony took place outdoors on the top of Sulpher Mountain, framed by two elegant pillars holding florals from Willow Flower Co., with the mountains standing tall behind them. You could feel the emotion in the air as Melanie and Jordan exchanged vows, completely locked in on one another.
Inside, the reception space was warm and welcoming. Floor-to-ceiling windows flooded the room with golden light. Long wooden tables were dressed in soft greenery, gold accents, and candlelight, creating a natural and refined atmosphere that felt just right for the setting. It was a perfect mix of classic and mountain-boho, a style that truly suited them.
Guests were treated to a beautiful dinner, cocktails, and dessert by Whippt, while music by Visual Sound Waves kept the celebration flowing into the evening. Rocky Mountain Photo Co. captured it all, from portraits along the boardwalk to golden hour shots that could only happen at a place like this.
With support from a talented team, including Blush & Coco for hair and makeup, Mountain Event Rentals for decor, and Patagonia Chauffeur for smooth guest transport, the day came together effortlessly.
