Amelia & JC

There’s something undeniably magical about a spring wedding in the Canadian Rockies. The kind of day where the weather keeps you guessing, the light shifts by the minute, and the mountains feel just a little more dramatic because of it.

Amelia and JC’s April wedding at the Fairmont Banff Springs was exactly that kind of day.

Soft, overcast skies settled over the Bow Valley, creating a moody, romantic backdrop that felt almost cinematic. A few delicate snowflakes drifted through the air here and there, just enough to remind everyone where they were, while the ground stayed dry and the peaks remained beautifully visible. It was the kind of perfectly imperfect mountain day that you simply can’t plan for, but wouldn’t change if you could.

From the moment guests arrived, the tone was set for something intimate, elegant, and deeply personal. With a smaller guest list, every detail felt intentional. Every moment felt shared.

Inside the castle-like setting of the Banff Springs, the design leaned into timeless sophistication. Soft whites, fresh greens, and warm gold accents created a palette that felt both regal and understated. Candlelight flickered across tables dressed in crisp linens, while delicate florals added just the right amount of texture and softness. It was refined without being overdone, classic without feeling expected.

And at the centre of it all were Amelia and JC.

Effortless, joyful, and completely wrapped up in each other. The kind of couple that makes a room feel lighter just by being in it. Their connection was easy to see in every glance, every laugh, every quiet moment in between. Nothing felt staged or forced. Just genuine, steady love.

The evening unfolded naturally, moving from heartfelt moments to laughter-filled celebration, all within the warm, historic walls of one of the Rockies’ most iconic venues. It was elegant without being formal, relaxed without losing its sense of occasion. A balance that’s not easy to strike, but felt seamless here.

A beautiful day. A beautiful setting. And two people who made it all feel even more meaningful.
