Baili & Brandon
Baili and Brandon’s July wedding brought elevated western style to the Canadian Rockies. With portraits beside turquoise water, an outdoor ceremony at Tunnel Mountain and an intimate reception at Bluebird, the day felt completely at home in Banff. Friends and family travelled from Georgia to celebrate with them. Before the ceremony, Baili and Brandon visited Moraine Lake to sign their marriage papers against one of the Rockies’ most recognizable backdrops. Taylor Dawning Photography captured everything from the wide mountain views to the quieter moments between the two of them.
Baili wore a strapless gown with a full, flowing skirt and a lace choker that gave her look a distinct western edge. Her hair by Smolyk Style and makeup by Julia Makeup kept the overall look soft and natural. Brandon wore a dark suit with a black cowboy hat, carrying the western influence through without making it feel overly themed.
Their symbolic ceremony took place at Tunnel Mountain, with Brandon’s father officiating and live music from Stephanie O’Dette. A wooden arch decorated with flowers from Blue Lake Florals stood against the mountains, while wooden chairs and white ribbon completed the ceremony space. The wind had other plans, sending Baili’s veil across the ceremony and hats through the field. Everyone took it in stride, and the unexpected moments only added more laughter to an already joyful afternoon.
The celebration continued at Bluebird in downtown Banff. Warm wood, soft candlelight and florals in white, peach and orange gave the restaurant a relaxed but polished look. Rentals from Mountain Event Rentals helped bring together the table settings and ceremony decor, while personalized matchbooks added a fun detail for guests. Later in the evening, Baili changed into a short white dress and cowboy boots for the dance floor. Revolution Entertainment handled the music, and Storyline Artistry joined the reception to give guests flash tattoos. The sign-up sheet quickly filled, making it one of the most memorable parts of the night.
Baili and Brandon’s wedding was thoughtful, adventurous and full of personality. From the mountain ceremony to the tattoos and dancing at Bluebird, it was a true reflection of the couple and an incredible day to help bring to life.
