Amanpreet and Sam’s wedding at Emerald Lake Lodge was the definition of understated luxury in one of the most breathtaking settings in the Rockies. With its vibrant turquoise water, towering mountain backdrop, and dense forest surroundings, Emerald Lake offers the feeling of a secluded, backcountry escape without sacrificing comfort or convenience. Just over an hour from Lake Louise, it’s a world-class venue that feels both remote and effortlessly refined.

Their celebration was intimate, elegant, and deeply personal. The ceremony overlooked the lake, with rows of white chairs and a lush, low floral installation by Willow Flower Co that framed the couple without taking away from the view. It was a thoughtful, minimalist approach that let the landscape speak for itself.

The aesthetic carried through in timeless black and white. Classic black suits, soft white florals, and clean, elevated rentals from Mountain Event Rentals created a look that was cohesive, modern, and quietly striking. Commissioner Klaus Ohloff led a ceremony that balanced heartfelt emotion with moments of lightness, while live music by Solatido added a soft, romantic atmosphere.

Inside, the reception felt warm and inviting, with long tables, candlelight, and refined details that echoed the day’s palette. There was a beautiful blend of tradition, humour, and meaningful moments woven throughout, making the entire day feel both intentional and effortless.

Captured by Jody Goodwin Photography and Parfait Productions, every moment was documented with care and artistry. Blush & Coco created a timeless bridal look, Whippt delivered a beautifully crafted cake, and Pez Productions brought the energy into the evening.
