Chloe and Philip were married on a sunny July day in Canmore, surrounded by mountain views, bright summer flowers, and the people they love most. Their wedding blended meaningful traditions with modern details, all with an energy that felt light, joyful, and completely natural.
The day took place at The Malcolm Hotel, a striking mountain venue in the heart of Canmore. Guests had travelled to one of the most recognizable destinations in the Canadian Rockies, with the town, the hotel, and the surrounding peaks all becoming part of the experience.
Before joining their guests, Chloe and Philip met for a private first look. It gave them time to see each other, settle into the day, and share a few quiet minutes together before everything began. From there, Katelyn Anne Photography captured portraits among the trees, beside the water, and beneath the mountains. Chloe wore a sleek satin gown with a high neckline, low back, and long veil. La Beauty Palace completed her look with an understated, modern feel. Philip wore a classic black tuxedo and bow tie, finished with a warm yellow-and-peach boutonniere that tied into the day’s floral palette.
The outdoor ceremony was set against the greenery surrounding The Malcolm. Gold chairs lined the aisle, with small floral arrangements marking each row. At the front, two abundant arrangements stood on white columns, creating a focal point without closing off the garden or the views beyond it. Flowers from Willow Flower Co brought the full colour of summer into the space. Pink, peach, coral, yellow, and white blooms were mixed with loose greenery to create arrangements that felt generous and garden-inspired. Chloe’s bouquet was filled with roses, ranunculus, tulips, and other seasonal flowers in the same bright palette. The ceremony was full of genuine emotion, from the look on Chloe’s face during the vows to the kiss and triumphant walk back down the aisle. It was immediately clear how happy these two were to be getting married. The wedding also included a traditional crowning ceremony, bringing a deeper sense of history and family into a day that otherwise felt distinctly contemporary.
Parfait Productions documented those moments on film, from the quieter exchanges between Chloe and Philip to the cheers that followed the ceremony. Together, the photographs and video captured the ease that defined the entire wedding. Nothing appeared overly staged. Chloe and Philip simply looked happy to be together.
Inside, the reception continued the summer palette with soft blush linens, gold chairs, candlelight, and flowers throughout. Decor from Mountain Event Rentals complemented the warm wood and large windows of The Malcolm, while the florals added colour to every table. An especially abundant floral arrangement framed the sweetheart table, creating a bright focal point at the front of the room. Smaller centrepieces carried the same mix of pink, peach, yellow, and white across the guest tables, paired with glassware and warm votive candles. As the evening began, sunlight moved through the room, giving the entire reception a soft golden glow. A stunning cake Pretty Sweet YYC was finished with delicate textured lines and a small cluster of fresh flowers. Simple and polished, it suited the rest of the design perfectly. After dinner, Pez Productions brought guests onto the dance floor. With transportation provided by Patagonia Chauffeur, everyone could settle in and enjoy the celebration late into the evening.
Chloe and Philip’s wedding reflected everything we love about summer in Canmore. It was colourful, warm, deeply meaningful, and filled with an unmistakable sense of happiness.
